Aisha jamila hinds was born in America and is well-known for her part on The Shield. Since her debut in 2003, she has shown her range in acting giving outstanding performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Anna's performance as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big break. But it was her performance as women's rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally earned her acclaim as an actor. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was likewise highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will continue for an additional season.
