Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was the daughter of Janice
Cooke who was an accountant and William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke
Kendrick is her older brother, and was also an actor. She is of English, Irish,
and Scottish descent.For her role as "Dinah" in "High Society"
on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for an Tony Award (second youngest
ever), an award from the Drama Desk Award, and the Fany Award (best actress
featured in the musical). Her stunning performance earned her Theatre World
Award and Drama League Award. She was also part of Cabaret's Kit Kat Club at
"Carnegie Hall Live", in Great Performances, My Favorite Broadway:
the Leading Ladies (1999). (TV). She also had the opportunity of working with
the director Scott Ellis and choreographer Susan Stroman at the New York City
Opera House alongside Jeremy Irons amongst many more stars of the spotlight,
