Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush, an American pop boy band
was formed in the year 2009. The group is made up of Kendall Schmidt and James
Maslow as well as Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They signed their first
contract with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to
their new label. They appeared on Nickelodeon's television show, Big Time Rush.
The show aired from November 28th, 2009 through July 25, 2013. The pilot
episode included "Big Time Rush" the group's first promotional single.
The group has released three studio albums: BTR in 2010, Elevate in 2011 and
24/Seven in the year 2013. In 2014, the group took a break that lasted up to
2021. They resumed live performances in the studio and released "Call It
Like It Sees It". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to an album deal in
2009, in conjunction with its television show, Big Time Rush. In the following
year, Nickelodeon partnered with Columbia/Epic Label Group to produce the show,
and also to add original music that was used in the show. For the series, their
first single, "Big Time Rush", was released on November 29th on the
29th of November. The song was officially announced on Nickelodeon The song
premiered in the U.S. November 2009 and was later broadcast across the world.
The theme song was included in a trailer for the series for an hour, and it is
the show's opener. Promo singles like "City is Ours", "Any Kind
of Guy" and more were released during the show. Big Time Rush also covered
the Play song "Famous" The song was written by him. The track was
released on iTunes on June 29 the 29th of June, 2010. After the series'
premiere, another song, "Halfway There", was released on iTunes on
April 27 in 2010. The song quickly became the first single to chart on
Billboard Hot 100. Due to digital sales, it reached number 93. To promote their
debut album, Big Time Rush released "Till I Forget About You" on
September 21, 2010. On the 11th of October, 2010 the album, which was titled
BTR was released to the general public. The album was released at number three
on the Billboard 200. It sold 67,000 copies within its first week.
