Steve Aoki
Steve Aoki was born on November 30, 1977
in Miami, Florida. American electro house music producer D.J., and record
producer Steve Aoki is his stage name. Music executive. He is the third child
of Rocky Aoki and Chizuru Kbayashi. His father, a former wrestler, co-founded
the restaurant chain Benihana. He has two older brothers: Kana (sometimes
called Grace), and Kevin (owner Doraku Sushi restaurant). Half-sister Devon
Aoki is a model and actress. He grew up in Newport Beach and graduated from
Newport Harbor High School with an 1995 B.A. in badminton. After graduating
from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree, the student attended UC
Santa Barbara. degrees: one in feminist studies and the other in sociology. In
college, he produced DIY records and ran underground music events out of his
Biko room in the Santa Barbara Student Housing Cooperative. The Pickle Patch
was born as a concert venue. He was active in student activism , and he founded
the Revolutionary Anti-Imperialist League section on campus. He had also
started an independent record label when he was during his 20s. It was called
Dim Mak which was named after his idol from childhood Bruce Lee. In March 2010
the singer released I'm in the House, a collaboration w/ the Zuper Blahq, the alter-ego
of The Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am. The track reached the top spot at No.

the release. It later entered the U.K. Dance Chart & the U.K. Indie
Chart, being among the top 5 in both charts. The song was featured in an

with HitQuarters, Lucas Secon, the producer-songwriter confirmed that he as

designated him as the highest-grossing dance artist in North America from
tours. He has worked with artists like Afrojack and Linkin Park, Afrojack.

Tomlinson. Rise Against. Vini Vii & Fall Out Boy. He is well-known for
his remixes of artists including Kid Cudi.
